Matthew 2:13-15
Joseph
13 Now when the magi had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you, for Herod is about to search for the child, to destroy him.” 14 And he rose and took the child and his mother by night and departed to Egypt 15 and remained there until the death of Herod. This was to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet, “Out of Egypt I called my son.” ESV
Ready and Willing

Joseph, a man of God, shows us that God will guide us and protect us if we listen to his commands. God sent an angel into Joseph’s dreams multiple times to give him instructions. 1st to marry Mary, 2nd to flee to Egypt, 3rd to return with Jesus. All of these were t fulfill God's plan.
What is God leading you to do? What is God speaking to you about? Take notice, Joseph did not think about what others thought... He married Mary. Take notice Joseph did not wait... He rose and left with his family. Take notice Joseph continued to obey God... He returned with his family to Israel.
1st. Are you close to God to know it is His voice?
2nd. Are you ready and willing to change plans when God is calling?
3rd. Are you ready and willing to listen to what God directs you to do?
4th. Will you continue to stay faithful even when the results don't come in your timing?
As a faithful disciple of Jesus, God will use us in His plans if we let Him by obeying him!
Prayer:
God of all people, you trusted Jesus into the loving care of Joseph. Show me what you want me to care for and show me how to do it. Then give me grace to follow your instructions. Through Jesus who is judge of all people, Amen.
