Luke 2:15-18

15 When the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.” 16 And they went with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in a manger. 17 And when they saw it, they made known the saying that had been told them concerning this child. 18 And all who heard it wondered at what the shepherds told them. Make Haste

The shepherds knew the voice of the Lord coming from the angels, so they responded with joy and thanksgiving! They couldn't wait to meet the promised Messiah. It sounds like they ran as quickly as they could just to come face to face with Him who would be the Savior of the world.
Upon their arrival, they were so excited to share with Mary, Joseph, and anyone nearby, that they had been told to come by angels from Heaven. Glory to God in the highest! This is a great reminder that God uses others to confirm His plans for us. He doesn't leave
us high and dry, guessing which path to take. We just need to be patient. Silent. And listen. His timing is perfect.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, fill me with wonder and amazement at the knowledge of your great, amazing love for me. Thank you for your perfect timing in my life when I put my complete trust in you. Amen.
